Chasing Darkness is our ever-evolving Imperial Stout as we attempt to chase the perfect version of our favorite style. V3 was conditioned on pecans, coffee, vanilla beans, coconut and cacao nibs.

More dessert style, but the flavors blend well. It’s pretty much what the can says, with a solid heavy mouthfeel that seems to be a Timber Ales staple. The BA versions must be very nice, akin to Mortalis BA versions of the base stout.

Black motor oil liquid capped by a one finger taupe foam cap , good retention, settles to a thick layer

Aroma is coconut, coffee , cocoa

Taste is coconut, cocoa nibs, pecans, coffee, vanilla

Mouthfeel is sweet, velvety , fizzy sudsiness
