The stunningly black body is further driven to oblivion by its very dark brown head, which settles to a thickly ridged collar.
I definitely get characteristics of peanut wafer, but mildly so. This is cut by a boozy feel that allows toasted coconut to express less sweetly in the finish.
Fairly viscous, chocolatey, and surprisingly warm in the swallow, it gives an overall mature impression there.

This one pours a very dark black color, with a small head, and a bit of lacing.
This smells like coconut cream and coconut candy, rich dark chocolate, caramelly and spicy bourbon barrel, and peanuts.
This is really decadent and pastry-forward – more so than the usual Timber BA stout. There’s still a great barrel character here – strong enough to punch through the heavy duty coconut and peanut layered on top.
This is medium bodied, very creamy and rich, with no real booziness to it.
Timber barrel aged beers are some of the only things of that sort I want these days. This is wonderful and super decadent.
