This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a small head, and a little bit of lacing.
This smells pretty vanilla forward for something with no actual vanilla in it. There’s also some decent milk chocolate, with some herbal and roasty bitterness. There’s also caramel candy and even some maple on the nose.
There’s a ton to this one. It’s on the sweeter side for Timber, with milk chocolate, maple, and caramel flavors. But there’s also a lot of barrel, with some oaky and spicy warmth, and a little bit of roasted malt. Despite the elevated sweetness, at least compared to what Timber usually does, it’s still pretty well balanced overall.
This is medium bodied, very creamy, and not boozy at all.
This is quite enjoyable, and a nice collaboration between two great newer breweries.
