Wow. Sheesh! Delicious. Extremely high quality beer. Rich, lush, full, yet very crisp quenching and refreshing. Luxurious pour. Best ipa lacing i’ve seen in years, or ever. Curtains and gobs. Two month old from a can.
Massive hop delivery. Rich berry, herb, spice, garden, sprucey pine, diesel, dark fruit, fields of golden grain. Layers after layers. Deep saturation. If you like Mosaic and Simcoe give it a go. A Portland classic and a must-try.

Poured from 12oz can into my Bell’s tulip. Date on the can is thoroughly munged but I bought it at respectable Portland beer shop Belmont Station, so I’m guessing it’s pretty fresh.
Appearance: rich golden hue with a tiny dash of haze and a thick head of frothy ivory foam, leaving a nice lace on the glass.
Smell: very resiny and earthy hop character, with a rather sweet malt that has a bit of toastiness to it. It reads very autumnal to me. A really solid WCIPA aroma.
Taste: there’s more of a citrusy, grapefruit-peel note in the flavor than in the aroma, and some of that almost piney resinyness is more subdued. There’s plenty of bitterness, but also plenty of sweetness to back it up. Very different character from the aroma, but also really good.
Mouthfeel: medium-rich body with a decent carbonation and good creaminess.
Overall: definitely one of the best WCIPAs I’ve had in a while. Although I prefer a NE IPA to a WC IPA, this is still a damn solid beer and its reputation is deserved.

Poured from a 16oz can into a Waterford IPA glass. Pours a clearer golden orange with a beautiful two fingers of slightly off-white foam head. Pine, citrus and candied orange on the nose. Taste follows with a lovely bitterness to the finish. Thick mouthfeel. Very good.

Crystal clear, golden body; dense, slow-rising carbonation; thick head, white and densely textured, long-lasting, shallow, rolling white head with a creamy appearance. Pungent and dank hop aroma; zesty; earthy herbal qualities. Clean tasting with a delicate malt base infused with a refined hop bitterness; soft cracker and biscuit hints; peppery. Medium bodied; crisp yet with a rounded softness as well; light tingling sensation with the carbonation; a trace of sugary stickiness; faint note of dryness at the finish.
Wow! This is a very fine American India pale ale. Clean and crisp with a well-balanced tasting experience. Everything about this beer indicates superior craftsmanship from the brewery. I'm hoping my main beer emporium still has some more. A very, very excellent beer!
ABV: 6.9%; pouring temperature: 42.9 °F; canning info: 09/03/25

Clear, golden color. Nice-looking, white head. Pine and citrus notes in the aroma. Balanced, hoppy taste with strong bitterness. Classic, old school IPA.

Had this beer 8 or 9 months ago. Pours a nice golden color with a medium to small head. Very fruity aroma and wonderful taste. Not much hop bitterness. Best beer I have tried from Von Ebert Brewing

For a supposed ‘volatile’ brew, this one is very smooth and balanced. Hops and malts come together deliciously.
Von Ebert has produced a great, popularly priced, accessible IPA.

Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours red orange with a small white head. Smells of citrus and floral hops. Tastes of floral and citrus hops, nice and full. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

Very lightly hazy yet bright yellow-gold with a short white head.
Softer than Citra Engine, with malt expressing as cracker to biscuit, nearing buttery but not quite, accented by a little prickly, drying citrus zest.

From City Brew Tours, canned October 9th 2022, best by July 5th 2023. Kind of on the older side but I will see what I think of it.
It pours a clear gold with an inch of foam, lacing is beautiful.
The smell is very piney, they mention pine resin on the label. Has some definite citrus going on, some cracker malt.
The pine is so lovely in the taste and it's a smooth pine. Citrus backs it up with some cracker malt and...I can't believe how fresh it tastes being the best by date has come and gone.
Medium bodied and smooth as heck mouthfeel.
I could drink a few more of these, not at one sitting, but it’s my one and only.
