Very foamy. Green yellow. Tropical fruit smell. Pineapple flavor. Fun little saison.

Can.

A clear light orange with a rapidly receding white head. The nose is classic low ABV saison. Dry, snappy, delicately yeasty with light bubblegum, light spices, a grainy, cracker like malt base. The palate is a delight, bright, clean, snappy and flavorful with cracker crisp base malt, grains of paradise, mild clove, a delightful fruity bubblegum character that's restrained, all on an effervescent body. The hops are relatively restrained, lending a lemony note to complement the fruity yeast. Drying , yeasty finish with light fruit esters. Very tasty.

a mellow, drinkable, and well made clean saison here, not usually my type of saison, but this is super nicely done, the can conditioning makes the texture amazing, bone dry and fully effervescent, and there is a nice spicy finishing hop to it, active and light and summery, done in collaboration with the legendary breakside. very pale straw color, relatively clear for the style, and holding a high white head with peaks like beaten egg whites. i smell a familiar french type saison strain, nothing rustic about this at all, but its not annoyingly estery either, and i like the ferment being somewhat subdued in a beer thats this clean, more ferment character when its more interesting, less when its less, so they got this right for what they used. the hops seem noble, dried grass, light lime, good bitter pop. the flavor is solid, i like how fresh everything is, and i appreciate the character of the grain, light as it is, seems more pils than wheat to me. i get some light pear and white grape in the ferment, absolutely no funk this is super clean, and the finsihing hop bitterness is nice, all on the swallow and helping this drink crisp almost like a lager, refreshing and high volume for a saison. the texture is amazing, the can conditioning is on point, and this is almost explosive on the palate, really good. loving von ebert across all styles lately in recent months, we are lucky to have their stuff available in idaho now!
