This is the German cousin to our house Foeder Pilsner, Rare Earth. Brewed with 100% of the highest quality German Pilsner malt, and hopped with NY-Crystal, and German Hallertau for a firm bitterness.
We fermented this one low and slow in one of our American Oak foeders. It spent 2 months on the oak before being transferred to stainless steel where it "lagered" for 9 weeks. The resulting beer is bright, bone-dry, and subtly oaky.
We're tasting under-ripe pear, fresh blossoming honeysuckle, subtle lemon pith, and homemade white wine ice pops.
