cool old historical brick building. Inside modern industrial vibe - the brick walls painted white, modern light fixtures, potted plants are around. long bar in back, the pizza oven and food counter to the left, and tables along the space. patio out back but was there on a cold winter day. 16 drafts - 7 hoppy beers, 2 lagers, 2 fruited sours, 4 dark beers, 1 cider. I drank a Pale Ale, Black IPA, and BA Imperial Stout - all were good. food wise we had a hummus plate with their house made pita bread, and some poutine. both were very tasty. They had a cooler of beer to go and some merch as well.

No welcoming vibe or any real vibe at all. A little pretentious, in fact.
No 'personality' to the space. Granted, it's mid-winter, but no music, tv, or anything. Just a big, old, historical (beautiful) space.
Yeah, a very nice, historic building, but no real identity or presence.
Very good varied offerings, but several beers crossed out with an 'X,' including the one I was most psyched to try.
Pizza was outstanding!
Staff? Well, def no open, welcoming presence. They barely spoke at all. Responses to general questions about the place or beers were brief, muted, and uncertain.
No interaction with patrons. Strangely robotic? Again, pretentious or just 'off' on a cold winter Sunday afternoon?

Probably really nice in warmer weather to hang out back on big patio. Not planning to return, but we'll see...
And please, for the love of beer, date stamp your cans!

Have had a few of their beers out and about and wanted to look in on them, but they’re sooooo up there in Orange County, you know? Trudged on out for a Saturday shortly after noon opening and they’ve already got a crowd. Seems everybody wants to sit outside. Yeah, you enjoy that. It’s hot as actual ass; I’m sitting inside, cooler than you. An excellent space with some history in its bones, part of a complex complex. Alcoholic & addition camp repurposed to boy’s rehabilitation school repurposed to correctional facility repurposed to a brewery. Throw in a guard strike & them pesky Roosevelts, you know, the usual…

A magnificent looking loooooong low brick building. Park and enter in over there (me, pointing) to the tap room. Splotch gray/white concrete floors & a white painted ceiling with sunken spots. Black iron I-beam uprights across the room, black framed panel windows on white brick walls front & rear, and Foeders fronting the brewery proper behind glass on the far end. Plantings potted hanging & standalone all along the perimeter. It’s a good room; very light and open.

To the rear, an ‘L’ shaped light wood topped bar, with a brown vertical plank base & seating for none (get your beer, then stand clear). A single expansive 16 tap barbell tower with non-descript handles on the bar, potted leafy things contained & rambling shelved at alt heights between the windows along the barback over counter space, and large ping pong ball drop lamps tracing the bar above. Roll ups doors to both sides of the bar lead to the patio space there but we’ll get to that.

Can cooler & merch amongst the leaves just inside the door and some benchy seating adjacent, too. Horizontal board past there displays draft options (beer, style, & ABV). A dozen and a half tables for the sitting at; low rectangular & high top squares, and a single long bar counterlike table stooled.

Stairs at both ends of the room leading to the upstairs event space. I really want to go on up and get eyes on the room and attached outside deck, but someone named Rachel is selfishly having her bachelorette party there now, and it’s all private private private. Was going to just head up there anyway under the guise of being the party stripper, but I’d really rather not have to declothe at a brewery again unless the money is right.

On walkabout now, and I spotted Rudy, you know, Rudy from the Tiger, on the patio out back, because sure, that totally makes sense. 2 dozen tables (square & rec) and a pair of fire pits, some of it running beneath the strung filament bulb lined wood deck. Last time out, there was a taco truck over there (me, pointing again) bringing the goods (Korean for the Win!); this time it was a pizza trailer. And then it’s all downhill from there with views over the mad open space below; the sprawling lawn, the picnic tables, and the creek.

On a recent revisit, I was shown around the upstairs event space & brewery (thank you!) Vaulted plank ceiling with a pair of ornate chandeliers, panel windows front & back, wall mounted filament bulb lamps, I beams vertically & horizontally and angled supporting above. Nearly a dozen and a half long tables and a small L bar on the end with a 6 non-descript handle tap tower. There’s a catwalk on the far end that runs above the brewery proper, it’s pretty cool. And out to the deck; 9 hightop square tables and stooled ledge seating along the perimeter for about 2 and a half dozen overlooking the show below. Well done.

15 beers (Loam, IPA, 6.5%; Lush Yield, IPA, 6.5%; Green Yield, IPA, 7.2%; Fresh Terra, DIPA, 8.1%; Soft Terra, DIPA, 8.2%; Soft Clouds, DIPA, 8.5%; Terra Mosaic, TIPA, 10.5%; Terra Kill, Sour IPA, 7%; Batten Kill, Fruited Sour IPA, 7.5%; Harvest Kill, Fruited Sour IPA, 7.3%; Acacia, Fruited Sour IPA, 6.5%; Beneath a Tree, Saison, 4.5%; Tilth, Saison, 5.2%; Rose Mallow, Saison, 5.5%; Still Woods, Pilsner, 5%), + a guest cider (Graft Farm Flor, 6.9%).

More IPAs this time than last time just a short while ago. Green Yield is a really easy drinker. And I got into these Saisons three (Gar!); Beneath a Tree is a straight up Saison, while Tilth is done up Sauv Blanc, and Rose Mallow is foeder ferm on dry hibiscus. And then the Acacia; Orange & Tangerine puree, really tasty. Green Yield, Beneathe a Tree, & Acacia for the Wins.

My revisit last week found a whole lot of dark & heavy beers, apparently on the heels of an event they just did and I can work around or along them. River Birch, foeder Pilsner, 5.1%, bright & floral; Gather House, Belgian Wit, 4.87%, yep, coriander & citrus; took a pinch of Black Ash, nitro Porter, 5.5%, very lightly vanilla, pleasant; Cabin Fever, foeder ferm Barleywine, 10%, a goddamn delight; and Meadow Rue, Fruited Sour IPA, 7.5%, over guava and pineapple, just excellent. Gather House, Cabin Fever, & Meadow Rue for this round’s Wins.

Friendly folks, good tunes, a beautiful facility, & some reeeeally nice beers.

Very nice outdoor large brewery overlooking a small pond. There's a multilevel deck as well as a really nice inside area as well. Beers are solid with a good mix of types. Very nice brewery and we'll be back. Good large area for kids to run around as well.

Architecturally interesting old brick building that was once part of some state or federal facility. Tap room is open and expansive with large multi-checkout service bar for quick and efficient service. Plenty of table seating on ground floor, second floor, and patio out back. A dozen beers on tap, I had the Summer Terra which was very nice. Food truck.

This is a unique brewery. It's located outside the center of Warwick, NY, on the road to Chester, in the former administration building of the county corrections facility. The brewery/taproom have been lovingly restored and the space is light and airy; very inviting. There is a large, spacious outdoor patio seating area with a fire pit. The brewery hosts private events. On weekends, it's quite busy. They often have a food truck. The staff is friendly and helpful. The beer is quite good for those who like oak-aged and sour beers. This brewery is worth a visit.

Classy and comfortable brew spot....light, airy and open indoor tap room, cans to go and draft pours for on site consumption. The star here is the outdoor area...roomy, comfortable and super pleasant....tables, fire pits, views, the works...come for the beer and enjoy the outdoor space and casual environment.

Friendly folk behind the bar are always a plus.

Speaking of the beers, these guys are turning out high quality, interesting and highly enjoyable takes on NE IPAs, saisons, stouts and more....well worth a visit...fine place to bring some food and enjoy a beer and food filled visit...highly recommended....

The building itself has history being the former administration bldg of the Mod-Orange Correctional Facility. You drive over the rolling hills and past boarded up buildings, etc. on the road in.

The brewery itself is renovated in an IKEA chic fashion, concrete floors, minimalist furniture with some accent pieces. Definitely designed for indoor-outdoor use, there's a large opening besides the door that opens up up a patio, a rolling expanse of green parkland, and an upstairs patio deck.

If you like wedding venue vibe, or the idea of people dressed like they were getting famous on the gram that's what it exuded. Perhaps it's because I showed up in my hiking boots and shorts while people were ordering beer in workout bras that hadn't been to gym. Perhaps I shouldn't have gone on the last 70 degree day of the Fall, but that's the vibe I got.

Even though it was popping, popping, popping, popping, I'd give the service a gold star with how quickly they moved the line especially with multiple groups asking them to explain the whole beer list to them.

And the beer list was long. At least 10 beers ranging from stout to saison to lager to fruited IPAs to hazy IPAs. Expect $7-10 per glass. Lager I had was enjoyable if nothing special, but their stout made me realize I like coconut more than I thought.

This place is beautiful. Inside bar and tables have a nice modern look and the outside patio and deck offer great views. The staff is very knowledgeable about the beers and get to you relatively quickly. The beers I sampled are extremely well done. They have a decent selection but seem to be out of some offerings. I am not sure they have the capacity to put out large amounts of beer at this point. This is another great brewery in Orange County NY and is worth a visit.
