Poured a cloudy yellow-gold body with good head and lace. Pineapple-juice like aroma with a sugary edge as well. Medium body, tart, and when I say tart I don't mean like bitter acid like pineapple but a fruity tartness to it that is more like papaya crossed with a fig newton along with hints of orange peel and lavender. Slow sipping beer that is filling and has a crisp finish.

Fluffy, rimming white head over milky blonde; grapefruit sorbet, lemon balm, gooseberry, and flowers on the nose; nectarines, tangerines, white peaches, lychee, dank; creamy, medium, some oil.

Strata, Nelson Sauvignon
I never know what to think when the commercial description (which mentions Nectaron + Citra) doesn’t match the hops on the can. Recipe change? Versioned releases? Misprint?
Regardless, this is light-footed + understated, a “pale” fruit hop profile with lots of delicate botanical top notes, and a walk-the-line NEIPA.
The best thing, though, is that judging by the ingredient list (light Pils malt, etc.) this seems to be the beer they wanted to make: a Wit IPA if you like, with the restrained hop character matching the lightness of body.
Gotta respect a brewery that comes up with a concept and nails it. A considered, quality IPA.

8% DIPA, 2nd Review on BA, love this.
a) Meringe head over hazed golden body that leaves milkshake coating lace.
s) Moderate more grape, stone fruit, melon.
t) Grapes dominate from the Nelson but really nice round fruit flavors sans citrus.
f) Smooth smoothie.
o) A recent fave. Try 12 .

Fun crossover. They played with the malt bill and made a great drinking DIPA. Easier on the palate while still delivering some hop flavour. Can from Hops Hill.
