No date on can - love the can art as usual. Celtic/ Tolkien-esque line drawings of trees. moving water and arches.
This can labeled as 9.5% abv.
Murky, medium amber color, low white head that left spatters of lace.
Aroma is subtle and sweet, malt forward with floral and fruity hop notes blended in well. Not Mosaic dominant.
The flavor is rich and malty sweet - hard to taste this as an IPA. More rich caramel character of an Imperial Amber, the malt meshing with melon and berry flavors - complex and interesting with little back end hop bitterness.
Very hard to distinguish hop from barley malt and yeasty ale fruit flavor. Really well balanced and thankfully devoid of citrus hop flavors all too over done these days.
Well made - especially for a hazy "soft" type "ipa".
Body is near full while the finish is slightly dry yet still balanced and long on aftertaste of sugar glazed fruit with a final hint of alcohol warmth.
These people make good beer.

Pours a hazy golden color with a small head and an aroma of sweet malt and a hint of the ABV. Taste is smooth & mellow with some alcohol and possibly some oats for smoothness. Sediment in bottom of glass. No date, I think 6-8 months old.

 

It smells sour and not in a good way. The taste is sour also

 

No obvious canning date. Powerful, densely hazed, quite smooth on the finish with some heat from the 9.5 abv.

A pretty strong fruity flavor but is a DIPA so it’s expected to be more pronounced. Very smooth and on the sweeter side with a blueberry and peach taste. I would definitely seek to have again and would recommend.
