Copenhagen 26/10 2023. 47,3 cl can from Kihoskh, Sønder Boulevard, Kbh.V. Dark green can with a very hand made design with drawing of hand holding a tree over a nervous sea.
Pours opaque hazy golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Settles thin, almost transparent layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, slightly fermented odor of tropical fruits mingling with a scent of sour zesty citrus fruit. Mango, passion fruit and pineapple. Whiff of fermentation and decayed fruit. Lemon anf grapefruit.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, smooth, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with medium strong sweetness followed by a strong citric and tart bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Fine, smooth, dry and delicious. I will drown on their lands anytime.

Pours pale orange and hazy. A two inch fluffy white head slowly settles, leaving fine Belgian lace to coat a Simpli IIPA glass. The head eventually forms a pillow that lasts for the duration.
The aroma opens with a strong punch of mango and herbal hops. Pine straw comes out with warmth, as does oregano. The oregano becomes the primary contributor for the duration.
The flavor is that of earthy hops. The perceived fruits are dramatically diminished behind pine, herbs, and grains. It has a modest bitterness and no sweetness. The finish is long and mild, eventually allowing the oregano to be expressed.
The full body has a creamy texture that seems to transform to a soft rubbery feeling. Alcohol is as expected. Carbonation is fine. It is dry with no astringency.
This has the herbal qualities of a West Coast IPA, however, the bitterness is comparatively mild. It is nice and easy drinking. I found it paired well with smoked Monterey Jack that contrasted with the herbalness. The creaminess of the beer and the cheese complement one another.

Excellent hop profile of Mosaic, and Pacific Jade.
Aroma: sweet, herbal, citrus, tropical fruit.
MF: very smooth, quite viscous for an IPA.
Taste: citrus, tropical fruit.
Finish: hoppy
Overall: one of my favorites from Drowned Lands. Combines herbal, fruity, with a hoppy finish.

16oz can
Pours three massive fingers of pillowy white head into my Willi. Retention is good, and a small finger of head remains after a few minutes. Lacing is pretty nice. Body is orange juice, doesn’t say hazy on the can but I guess I’m supposed to know that. Looks pretty good.
Nose is juicy, mango, papaya. A welcome pine spiciness that becomes more aromatic over time. Smells generic but nice.
Flavor is juicy, but mostly just citrus rind. Lands much heavier with the pine. A dose of earthy hops are very prominent in the finish. Tastes good, but not really my cup of tea with the citrus rind and earthiness.
Carbonation is medium, though there is a substantial zip to it. Not super thick, but has some body. Not all that bitter, some slight tartness from the foeder and/or citrus. Starts of somewhat cloying/drying, but it cleans up into a decent drinker pretty quickly. Decent mouthfeel.
It’s a little all over the place at first with the earth, citrus, and sweetness; but after a while the earthiness blends in, and the beer settles into a pretty nice and mellow hazy.
