Hazy reddish pink. Big tart strawberry aroma and flavor; no real hoppy IPA character. OK balance; Sour > IPA and Tart > Fruit. Light bodied from very active carbonation.

fruited sour IPA says the can, just picked up from Beer Town. People, date your cans it's win-win. I get mostly kettle soured, malted down, hop at the end.

Can into Imperial Pint
Look: Muddy pink-red, pouring a white head which is a touch pink that was 1 1/2 fingers which dissipated into a thin sheet
Smell: Fresh strawberry jam, juicy hops, light hint of vanilla and freshly cut basil. Hint citric acid
Taste: Tart lemon and strawberry upfront. Juicy hops follow with mango pineapple and a hint of that vanilla and that fresh basil punches in. Finish is fresh bready malt and lemon zest. Some of that alcohol comes through on the swallow.
Feel: Light-med body with moderate carbonation. Smooth but dry finish.

I don't see too many Sour IPAs these days, so naturally when I saw this guy on Tavour I had to jump on it. It sounds like a very interesting combination of adjuncts, being conditioned on strawberry, vanilla, and basil. I imagine the basil will add a nice bite to it though. Let's crack it open and find out
Pours an opaque reddish pink with 3 fingers of creamy pinkish white head that slowly fades to a cap and leaves decent lacing
This is undeniably strawberry in the nose, but it's tart and bitey as well. I'm picking up on aromas of dehydrated strawberry, lemon juice, bready malt, grassy hops, earthy basil, tart raspberry, vanilla, and a touch of mango skin
It's pretty similar in taste, which is absolutely fine by me because this is great. On the front end of the sip I'm tasting juicy strawberry, lemon juice, crackery malt, sweet vanilla, grassy hops, lime zest, mango, and basil. The swallow brings notes of dehydrated strawberry, bready malt, lemon zest, coriander, mango skin, earthy basil, grassy hops, light wheat
A light medium body pairs with gentle tingling carbonation, resulting in a crisp and sharp beer. Finishes bone dry with a refreshing tartness
I really dig this one. It's not quite as hoppy as I'd expect for a Sour IPA, but as just a slightly hopped Kettle Sour, it's great
