Pale ale brewed with Golden Promise, malted white wheat, and a sprinkling of the choicest British crystal malt, hopped in the kettle with simcoe, mosaic, and cascade, then dry hopped responsibly with more simcoe and mosaic.
Twig is our first pale ale and we wanted this low abv crusher to be as refreshing as it is flavorful. To do that we balanced this bright, juicy beer with a slight bitterness that lingers just long enough to make you want another sip.
We’re tasting fresh kiwi, full-pulp tangerine juice, pithy grapefruit, spring grass clippings, and fluffy biscuits smeared with orange marmalade.

A: The beer is very hazy pale whitish yellow in color. It poured with a half finger high dense white head that has good retention properties that died down a bit but consistently left a quarter finger high head covering the surface.
S: Moderate aromas of floral hops are present in the nose along with notes of citrus hops.
T: The taste follows the smell except that the flavors of citrusy hops are stronger and there are additional hints of grassy hops and pale malts along with a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and a bit crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I found this beer to be quite flavorful. It is easy to drink and makes for a good selection that is both tasty and sessionable.
