Foeder Double IPA with Evil Twin Brewing brewed with our favorite grain bill of two row barley, white wheat, and flaked oats, and left to ferment in one of our Oak Foeders before being double dry hopped in stainless with Cascade and conditioned with some loving amounts of peach, whole vanilla bean and orange peel. This beer has some beautiful funk and flavor to it! We’re tasting the original Orange Julius from a shopping mall kiosk, a half slice of grapefruit with spoonfuls of sugar on top, a swig of Tang drink mix with gummy peach ring chaser.

A: The beer is very hazy to cloudy pale whitish yellow in color. It poured with a half finger high frothy white head that has very good retention properties and hardly died down.
S: Light to moderate aromas of peach are present in the nose along with hints of grapefruit.
T: The taste follows the smell but has additional notes of orange citrus and vanilla bean with some hints of oak.
M: It feels medium-bodied and crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: While this Imperial IPA is quite easy to drink, it has a nice amount of complexity in the taste that makes it something you can sip and savor.
