Fermented in an American oak foeder. Brewed with two row, wheat, and oats then fermented with our house hazy yeast. We hit this one with our favorite Citra and Simcoe, hop combo, throughout the brewing process. Vibrant citrus fruits, bright pineapple, touch of oak.

Appearance: Pours a completely hazy (5% clarity) medium to dusky pale golden color with a strong white head. SRM of 7. (4.00)

Flavor: Flavors follow with more orange, peach, tangerine, with strawberry mango underneath. (4.00)

Feel: Medium-body, strong carbonation. Finish is smooth. (4.25)

Overall: A great oak-foedered IPA from Drowned Lands. Simple Citra and Simcoe but complex peach and strawberry/mango flavors. Incredibly fluffy and smooth. Excellent. (4.09)

A: Poured into a tulip glass; body is hazy orangey-golden with a half-finger of pillowy white head that looks really nice. Deserves a bump up in score for the look.

S: Ripe melon (cantaloupe in particular), and citrus (oranges, orange peel and limes).

T: Ripe melon/cantaloupe again, some bready malt, oranges/orange juice and lime zest.

M: Call it medium in heft. Modest fine carbonation creates a nice smooth drink. Finishes surprisingly dry given the sweetness in the flavor profile.

O: Quite good. I think you could pass this off as a Tree House beer and no one would be the wiser - which is a pretty high compliment (at least in my book).

I’ve been digging the beers from Drowned Lands that have been available on Tavour lately. A foeder fermented NEIPA sounds just like the type of beer they’d excel at, so it wasa no brainer to pick this one up. Let’s crack it open and see what it has to offer

Pours a hazy deep gold with 3 fingers of soapy off white head that slowly fades toca cap and leaves decent lacing

The foeder aging isn’t super evident in the nose, but it adds a nice dry touch. I’m picking up on aromas of overripe cantaloupe, lemon zest, grassy hops, lime zest, white grape, and a touch of dry oak

It doesn’t have quite the same punch in taste but it’s still really good. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting overripe cantaloupe, white grape, bready malt, floral hops, lime zest, light honey, and orange juice. The swallow brings notes of lime zest, papaya, bready malt, orange zest, grassy hops, overripe cantaloupe, light oak, and a touch of banana

A medium body pairs with gentle carbonation, resulting in a smooth beer. Finishes bone dry and refreshing

This one is great. The foeder aging didn’t do all that much but its gentle presence still helped
