Can into Pint Glass
Look: Hazy muddy mustard yellow color, pouring a 2 finger loose head yellow-orange in color which dissipated to a thin cap
Smell: Citrusy and grassy hops, mango, hint of pineapple. Orange juice note which is most dominant
Taste: Lightly tart mango and pineapple juice with a grassy undertone. Leads to a citrusy hops note which finishes with a lightly sweet bready malt
Feel: Med-thick body, moderate carbonation, smooth finish.
Overall: Its good, nothing ground breaking but no bad attributes either

Drowned Lands has been really good to me lately. They’re readily available on Tavour and I’ll get most of the beers I see from them on there. This is yet another Sour IPA, a substyle they tend to excel at. Let’s break into this one and see how it measures up

Pours a hazy bright orange with 3 fingers of loose orange white head that quickly fades to a thin cap and leaves minimal lacing

The nose is basically a straight up tart fruit juice, and I’m fine with that. I’m picking up on aromas of pineapple juice, orange juice, overripe mango, lemon zest, cantaloupe, doughy malt, and light grassy hops

It’s pretty similar in taste, still doesn’t have much of a hop bie but I dig it. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting orange juice, tangerine, mango juice, pineapple juice, lemon zest, bready malt, grassy hops, and earthy guava. The swallow brings notes of mango skin, pineapple juice, earthy guava, bready malt, orange juice, lemon zest, and light cantaloupe

A medium body pairs with gentle carbonation, resulting in a slick beer. Finishes a touch sticky and sweet

While it is tasty, it’s not really what I’m looking for in a Sour IPA. I know they can do better but this was fine
