West Coast style pale ale hopped with Cascade, Amarillo, Simcoe and Citra. Crisp, dry and perfectly bitter, we're finding notes of early spruce tips, slightly underripe citrus slices and three to four pineapple lifesaver rings.

A: Pours a very lightly hazy pale yellow in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising quickly from the bottom of the glass and moderate pale golden yellow + apricot + bright yellow colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense creamy sudsy foamy white head that slowly reduces to a handful of small to medium sized patches of medium thick film surrounded by a large patch of thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate to significant amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate to strong aromas of citrus/grapefruit pith + tropical/pineapple + citrus/grapefruit + pine/resin hops over the top of light to moderate aromas of biscuit + lightly toasted + caramel malts with a light amount of caramel sweetness.

T: Upfront there are light to moderate flavors of biscuit + lightly toasted + caramel malts with a light amount of caramel sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of citrus/grapefruit pith + tropical/pineapple + citrus/grapefruit + pine/resin hops which impart a moderate amount of aggressive lingering bitterness.

M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Crisp upfront with a slightly soft mid-body and a light amount of dryness in the finish.

O: Enjoyable with well hidden alcohol and a pleasantly crisp yet still soft + dry mouthfeel. Very enjoyable hop profile and a decent amount of aggressive lingering bitterness.
