This is a lot better than I thought it would be. I expected a sour ale and I got sunshine from the coast in a can. This brew transported me from 32 degrees in the zombie apocalypse to someplace brighter and warmer.
It pours a bright, tranlucent but thick yellow. The aroma is not too much like beer. A ibt of hops, maybe, under the big sour nose. The taste is quite good. A big, sour, yeasty taste. Gigantic.
Highly recommended. Big sour taste. What's with all the versions? Mine was plain, just like this can.

Pours a completely opaque, juice like orange color. Looks like a glass of mango juice. Thin fizzy head appears and then dissipates similar to a soda - its just there and then gone, like that. There is absolutely no residual head.
Aroma has bright notes of pineapple juice, mango juice, peach, orange, guava, with a slight, sweet tartness coming through. Its incredibly juicy.
Taste has notes of pineapple juice, mango juice, juicy juice ... sneezing a theme? Its juice. Alcoholic, juice with a pleasant tartness on the back end. Sweet, but not overly cloying or anything like that. The tartness in this is really restrained and as far asI can tell there is no lactose which gets big positive marks from me.
Feel is medium bodied, kind of thick and juicy, but still easily drinkable. Restrained, smooth carbonation.
Overall this is the first of these fruited kettle sours that I've had that I actually got the appeal on and I am pretty sure thats because this does not have lactose in it. Its well done for the style, enjoyable and Ill be trying some more of the beers in this series.

Poured beer into a snifter. Looks like orange juice concentrate no light seeping thru the glass, with no head but some carbonation showing thru the pour. Smell is a bit offsetting for me, it was some kinda citrus but it was not that pleasant. After a few whiffs, I can tell it is pineapple, mango, and the wild yeast combining-- not a horrible smell just weird to me.
Taste is surprisingly very well blended. All the fruits, combined with a pleasant aftertaste. A bit sticky but no alcohol detected at all. This is the first fruit smoothie sour I have tried and it is good tasting.

Pours a thick and hazy mango color, presents like apricot nectar, almost impervious to light. Very thick, faint head that fizzles out quickly. Huge passionfruit aroma, mingled with sweet mango, guava and pineapple are in the background. Flavor is mainly passionfruit and mango, I get a lot of tart passionfruit. Guava and pineapple are there but not as prominent. Has a nice tart finish. Carbonation is a bit too much and feels too fizzy. Overall a very enjoyable fruited sour, glad I tried it.

Canned 8/14/20; drank 9/11/20 @ the Yarchives.
Opaque dull orange/pink appearance with chunks of khaki detritus.
A violent pour yielded a decent, noisy khaki head which quickly dissipated; no lace.
Passionfruit, guava, tart pineapple & mango flavors.
Medium mouthfeel.
A slightly tart fruit juice flavor with a hint of booze.
I mean...yeah, this is fine, but it's just like dumping some vodka in fruit juice. This isn't really what a brewer's alchemy is all about.

L: I'm not familiar with the appearance criteria of a fruit beer, but I can tell you I have never seen a beer that looks like this. It's a fruit smoothie. Pink-orange body, much like the thick, yet transient, head. It is quite pulpy, to the point of seeing large pulp matter condensing on the glass as the head dissipates after an aggressive pour. It looks very similar to what you might see if you are drinking a glass of tomato juice.
S: The most pungent aroma I pick up is straight up grapefruit. There is not grapefruit in this beer, however. At least not according to the label. Only "Pink dragonfruit, passion fruit, mango, pineapple, and pink guava. I'm not familiar with pink dragonfruit, but maybe it is similar to grapefruit? Either way, there is an unmistakable grapefruit aroma. I can pick up the pineapple as well, not so much the mango. There is a general ambiguous tropical fruitiness
T: Fruity of course. According to the label this is a"fruited sour". It is interesting that the "sour" presence doesn't really show itself for at least a second or two after the drink. Even then it is fairly mellow, and completely overpowered by the candy store it is losing it's courageous battle with.
F: This one is thicker than a bowl a oatmeal. I would compare the feel to a bloody mary more so than another beer.
O: I enjoy this one, but just one. In the future I will probably share with a friend.

Looks like orange concentrate. Tastes more like a fruit drink than a beer. Tastes of passion fruit, mango, orange juice. Absolutely loaded with cirtus fruit.

07/14/20 stamped on bottom of can. Poured into a nonic pint glass.
A: Very murky nectar + pudding turbidity, orange-banana hue, with 1-2 finger off-white head which disappeared quickly and leaves no lacing.
S: Intense tropical fruit aroma with banana, pineapple, guava, and orange
T: Flavor is straight up fruit salad juice with banana, pineapple, guava, mango, and orange. Not really much beer character though and not much if any sourness.
M: Surprisingly light despite the appearance with medium body and low carbonation.
O: Wish it was more tangy-sour and tasted more like beer.
