Our house wild pale ale, Valhalla is a marriage of wild yeast and aggressive hop usage. Brewed with wheat malt, flaked wheat, and 2-row malt, Valhalla is fermented with a blend of wild yeast strains, and double dryhopped during fermentation.

Pint served at Pourhouse in Vancouver, BC.

Pours a slightly hazy whitish yellow, with a small dense head that is slightly non-uniform. Smell features lots of lemon rind and a little honeysuckle, with a light and delicate brett funk.

Taste is very dry, leans toward earthy old hay, something oaky, less delicacy in the brett funk.

Mouthfeel is very dry and very light. Overall, it's a pretty good Belgian pale.

Pours a hazy pale yellow with massive tight puffy white head.
Hop burst on the nose - bright citrus, mango, and a dose of ripe peach - a bit of a funky yeast aroma.
Taste follows with the bright citrus, a slightly grassy, leafy flavour with notes of peach, over ripe tropical fruit and a sharp mildly acidic bitterness
Medium mouthfeel with fairly brisk carbonation - dry, clean, mildly bitter finish.

Can from the source.

A light, hazy yellow with a dense off-white head with good retention and lacing. The nose is a blend of funk and dry hops on a funky, lactic, wheaty, grainy base. Guava, citrus, passionfruit, quite riotous. The palate opens funky and mildly tart, with the wheat lending a grainy undercurrent and also quite a bit of husk and slight tannic structure. A little slick. Funky, tart, bright, the hops are well expressed with clean flavor and minimal grass or other green matter. Drying, clean, tart on the finish. Tasty.

O; A nice wild ale not sure if this one is a Norwegian Kveik, kind of tastes like it.
