Poured from a bottle (9/22/19) into a Belgian glass
L: very effervescent white head, fades quickly with no lacing. Very nice clear red amber/copper color
S: not much funk to the nose. Getting a sweet grape aroma, some oak - rather delicate, minimal/no tartness
T: there's that tart I was missing! Pleasantly acidic, on a base of tart/somewhat sweet red muscadine grapes. Medium finish, now getting this solvent character I don't quite like. Would have liked some more depth, mostly a straightforward tart ale
F: medium carbonation, nice mouthfeel. Solid, nothing to knock here
O: a decent wild ale, with the sour notes coming through on the taste much more than the nose. Flavor a bit one-dimensional, with general acidity leading the way
