Pours an aggressively opaque yellow with lingering foam. Scent is heavily of citrus and tropical fruit, but with no sweetness at all. Taste is very herbal and grassy, with no sugars as expected from a juicy IPA. All citrus rind with a lot of dank flavors and a little pine on the finish, but with a tempered fruit flavor. Low malt character, completely focused on the insanely weedy flavors and blooming floral notes. The feel is great, little carbonation which doesn't touch the hop flavors and smooths out the aggressive vegetal notes.

Some breweries make a DDH juicy IPA to be a sweet citrus bomb to draw in new crowds. Barrique is a wild ale and lager brewery that went outside of their comfort zone to create a beautiful NEIPA that I personally feel is in the vein of old school hazy IPAs from the Alchemist and Tree House. This is an extremely drinkable dank IPA that presents standard hop flavors in an impressively drinkable and refreshingly old school way.
