Poured from a corked 500 ml bottle bought in Nashville, TN.
The beer is a medium gold color and slightly hazy, with no head to speak of. Aromas are sour, slightly funked and full of oak. Supremely sour and citrusy, like concentrated lemon juice, but these impressions meld into a dry finish with some floral and lightly funky notes. Thin to medium body with a slightly oily feel. Light carbonation. Bitterness is not evident behind the sourness. Light alcohol warmth.
This is a good wild ale, definitely one of the stronger ones I've had, but still with some depth and subtle touches that make it interesting.
