Brownish black pour with a beige head. Smells has roasted malt, dark yeast, cocoa, and deep earth. Taste adds dark chocolate shavings and a whisper of light roast coffee. Feel is lighter but the airy roast fills the palate nicely with sneaky depth

16oz can poured into a SA perfect pint
A- pours black in color with just a hit of light creeping through, one-finger creamy off-white head with good retention
S- roasted cereal grains, chocolate, caramel, herbal coffee, sugar smacks, light char, hint of vanilla
T- malty chocolate and caramel up front give way to roasted malt at the mid-palate that gives some grainy notes. Herbal coffee notes emerge, along with some floral hops. The finish gives more roast with a chocolaty linger
M- light-medium body with moderate carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel that turns slightly creamy into the finish, high drinkability
