16oz canned 11-19-24, opened 5-11-25.
1 finger white head with decent retentian, hangs as a sparse cap. No lacing.
LIght beer with a hint of lemon.
Clean flavors, cereal grain, lemon/floral.
Light body, medium carbonation and a quick, dry finish.
Warm weather crusher to be sure.
Good to Very Good.

Absolute crusher. Sweet, slightly fruity nose. Palate is crisp with the softest amount of bitterness. Notes of malted grain, corn grits, & a touch of tangy sweetness.

Pours clear light straw, highly effervescent, with a finger of white head. Good lacing. Light corn aroma. Light corn tortilla-like taste with light bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied. Solid.

Into a pils glass, dated 11/19/24 "Birds aren't real".
One of the most picturesque pours I've had yet, perfect pale gold with huge fluffy foam and tons of bubbles. Aroma is noble hops, honey, and cereal. Flavor is insane, everything I want out of an AAL. It's labeled as an "heirloom corn lager", and it delivers. Tons of cereal and corn upfront, with a little bit of honey and apple. The corn flavor gives way to spicy hops before finishing sweet but clean, with a little bitterness. Plenty of carbonated snap, but not too much as to stop it from being smooth.
Once again, everything I want from an easy drinking lager, and surprisingly complex. You could crush a 4pk of this easily without getting bored. I'm not even sure why I'm surprised my favorite brewery made my favorite lager of this year.
