An absolutely wow beer for me. Perfectly encapsulates Christmas beer but in porter form. Nose is cinnamon and nutmeg. Taste is Christmas exploration in your mouth: coffee, cinnamon, malty, chocolate. Damn near perfect beer.

Dated 11/19/24 "spicing and dicing", into a pils glass.
Pours a deep, opaque brown with some light tan foam with lovely retention. Aroma is roasty malt, nutmeg, and a little cinnamon. It kind of smells like Southern Tier Warlock, but without the pumpkin and fake cardboard scent. You can tell there's a lot of spices in here. Flavor is coffee, light dark chocolate, and a lot of nutmeg and clove. Not too sweet and finishes mildly bitter and spicy. It's a very tasty, smooth American porter, with a lot of spices to liven up the mellow dark flavors. Feel is great, not syrupy, and drinkable.
This beer is someone you don't find everywhere: an old-school American porter with a distinctly refreshing flavor profile, and a lot of balance on top of the hefty adjunct additions. No weird sugary flavors or barrel aging, and a much lower ABV that makes this a lovely drink during the colder months.
