Brauweg is a shared tribute to the art of classic German lager brewing. Conceived in partnership with Schilling Beer Co, this Helles is built on mutual respect for tradition, technique, and time.
Brewed with a double decoction mash, a deep, rounded malt structure, with notes of freshly baked bread, soft honey, and subtle grain husk. A gentle touch of Hallertau Mittelfrüh imparts a noble floral aroma with a delicate herbal bitterness that enhances, rather than competes with, the malt's richness.
Fermented cold and lagered long, Brauweg is brilliantly clear and elegantly balanced. Vollmundig in mouthfeel yet crisp in finish. It honors the Helles tradition not by reinventing it, but by refining it, through care and collaboration.

Clear golden body with a sudsy white head and line of lacing. Aromas of cracker, biscuit malt, fresh baked bread and minor honey. Taste has big cracker, sweeter malt with minor grain, but the bready tones win out in the end hint of herbal hops on the finish. Feel is medium-light bodied, smooth and clean, but more shallow for the style.

16 ounce can - $4.00 at Woodstock Beer Market in Woodstock, Georgia.

Appearance: Pours a nearly clear, golden body with a full flush of white suds.

Smell: A soft breadiness backed by a little bit of crisped grain and floral, lightly herbal hops.

Taste: Lightly bready with a sweet-grainy quality that abruptly hits the classic floral, herbal, spicy noble hop flavor. Sufficiently supporting bitterness. Soft and softly drying finish with a little lingering spiciness.

Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.

Overall: A pleasant, well-crafted lager.

16oz can from Tavour. Clear golden pour, one finger foamy white head. Malty, bready aroma. Taste is grainy, biscuity, mildly sweet, faint hops arise at the finish, minor crisp bite. Nice, hefty feel.
