LV Gehts? (Huh?) Wie Gehts? (Umm?) What's Up? (OHHH) Wie Gehts, Lehigh Valley?! Schwarzbier! That's what's up! Meaning "Black Lager" in German, this traditional style is beaming with notes of chocolate and coffee with little to no bitterness. Lagered for over 4 weeks, it finished crisp and clean making it extremely drinkable. Prost!

On tap at the brewery.
A - Dark brown pour with a dense caramel colored lacing ring.
S - Light smoke, light chocolate roast, light char.
T - Lots of chocolate roast, smokie char, and finishes balanced with alot of lingering chocolate roast and a slight bit of char on the back side.
M - Big medium body with a wet finish.
O - This is a pretty fantastic beer!

Pours a dark brown color with ruby edges. The nose has roasty notes with a touch of smoke. The roastiness drops off a bit in the flavor profile. The body is a touch thinner than I like for this style, but this offering remains pretty solid.

on draft at the brewery - in dimpled mug
black in color, tan colored head. aroma and taste are spot on for style. A bit of roast and cocoa flavor, but really easy drinking - very clean. medium bodied.
