Several times a year the dam at the top of the Lehigh River is opened allowing the river to grow and surge. In that same spirit, we’ve decided to release the dam on our flagship IPA to take it up another level. Pushing our mash tun to the limit, we’ve bumped up the grain bill as far as it can go getting this Triple IPA up to 10.6%. Along with that we’ve added A THIRD dry hop addition to send the aromas to the moon. Just like flowing water, this beer will definitely sneak up on you as it drinks easier than it should. Share with friends, drink slow and don’t get caught in the rapids!

16oz can sent my way by @jzeilinger
Poured into an Imprint Belgian-style tulip
P cloudy orange w/ a dense 1-2f white head
N med nose; nice blend of citrus and stone fruit (primarily nectarine)
T smooth stone fruit dotted with citrus; light-med sweetness; creamy oat malt body; satisfying; 10.6% is nowhere to speak of; fleshy peach as it opens, w/ citrus on top; absolutely excellent
Mf full-bodied and super creamy; soft-med to med carb; notable mouthfeel
O started off smooth and satisfying, but really hit as it opened; outstanding and super drinkable TIPA; thanks so much, J!

No clear canning date. Poured from 16 oz. can into a McCall cider glass. It pours a dense, murky, dirty tangerine color with a half finger of creamy, eggshell-colored head and thick, clinging lacing. A classic appearance. A rich, full nose with lemon, grapefruit, tangerine, ripe melon, a whiff of onion, and floral hops. This is great! It's dank and fruity with a nice balance of tart lemon and grapefruit and ripe, sweet, tropical fruit including pineapple and honeydew. Unfortunately, the hop bill isn't well publicized but I'm assuming they used Citra, Mosaic, and El Dorado since this is a bigger version of McCall's Lehigh IPA (although this version is definitely sweeter and juicier). It's only mildly bitter at the finish. The mouth feel is exquisite: thick, almost chewy with moderate carbonation, and it drinks much too easily for 10.6% ABV. Don't operate heavy machinery after drinking this big boy! Overall, and kidding aside, this is a very good TIPA. I'm actually enjoying it more than its little brother.

Pours an opaque color of grapefruit juice with a half finger of head. Pineapple is the most forward note on the nose.. The flavor has a good hop bitterness and the mouthfeel is resiny. The whole thing ends up just a bit too boozy.

Poured into a 13 oz Teku glass not sure when it was canned but guessing a little over 2 weeks ago. Pours a very hazy yellow with a finger plus sticky white head that leaves scattered lace with excellent retention. 4.5
Aroma papaya, peach, pineapple, apricot, and grapefruit rind really pleasant. 4.25
Taste follows papaya, peach, pineapple, apricot, and pink grapefruit really balanced. 4.25
Mouthfeel is big, gentle carbonation true to the style, not sticky or dry, and at 10.6% loaded with flavor but the alcohol is well hidden and very easy drinking. 4.75
Overall jzeilinger has a nice local brewery in his town, look forward to trying more from this place my friend. Excellent NETIPA in my opinion. 4.25

A - Pours an opaque dark orange color with a thin layer of creamy white foam.
S - Peach, apricot, mango, and guava on the nose.
T - Juicy apricot, mango, and peach from start to finish along with some light spicy, peppery fruit rind. Starts on the sweeter side and ends on the sweeter side with just enough peppery spice to lend a small amount of bitterness along with some pine.
M - Thick, chewy, and dry on the back of the palate. The front of the mouth waters.
O - Flavorful and the ABV is pretty well hidden in this beer. Recommended and definitely worth a try.
