On tap at the brewery.
A - Dark garnet brown color with very thin caramel colored lacing. Carbonation is low.
S - Smoky rye and chocolate dominate the nose with some spiciness.
T - Follows the nose: big chocolate, light char/smoke, rye spiciness, and finishes with a long lingering chocolate roast and rye. Nice bitterness on the finish to chase away any sweetness.
M - Thick, full bodied, and silky.
O - A really nice Barleywine.
