Crafted with wildflower honey sourced from the heart of the Lehigh Valley, Bee Space pays homage to the discovery that reshaped modern beekeeping. In 1851, Philadelphia’s own Lorenzo Langstroth identified the precise “bee space” that allowed for the creation of the movable-frame hive—an innovation that brought order, balance, and ingenuity to the craft. That same spirit guides this beer.
Built on the classic foundation of an English Porter, Bee Space layers roasted malt, cocoa, and subtle toasted grain with the soft, floral sweetness of local honey. Smooth, dark, and quietly complex, it finishes clean and balanced, letting the honey’s character lift the traditional porter profile without overwhelming it.
Rooted in Pennsylvania history and brewed with local honey, Bee Space celebrates the beauty that emerges when nature, science, and craftsmanship align.

Dark brown pour with thin, caramel lacing. Toasted cocoa with some light sweetness both on the nose and on the palate. Thin medium body with gentle body. Very subtle and easy drinking.
