Pours a golden color slightly cloudy like a light honey small white head falls to ring of foam.
Aroma is caramel malt, honey almost meade like, some grassey hops and a slight grainy smell.
Taste is honey and some caramel malt sweet and clean tasting light grassey hops in finish. A very tastey clean crisp little Mailbock not my style so not sure if this one is a good example, but I like it.
Mouthfeel is litlle light of medium good carbonation adds to the mouthfeel and taste.
Drinkability is good wouldn't mind having when in the mood for something light, thanks to Ave for the sample.

Shiny golden yellow pour with a small head that lingers and leaves a bit of lacing. Buttery, sweet honey and spicy, grassy hops. Smells nice and fresh.

Sweet, creamy caramel malts and honey are complemented with a spicy bitterness from the hops. Grass notes are there as well as hints of fresh baked bread. A tasty brew that's enjoyable and quite balanced.

Mouthfeel is nice and creamy with ample carbonation. Easy to drink and satisfying with a nice mix of interesting flavors. I look forward to trying more New Glarus brews. Thanks to kmpitz2 for the bottle.

Pours a golden/yellow color with a small head that doesn't stick around long and doesn't leave much lacing on the glass. The aroma is grainy with notes of caramel. The flavor is slightly grainy as well. Nice caramel malt backbone with a sweetness from the honey. Very crisp. Easy to drink. Very nice.

This beer pours a pale golden color with a finger of white head that falls to ring the beer. The nose is nice sweet with lots of honey and caramel coming through. As much as I don't like lager beers, this smells nice. The flavor is very sweet, but not sugary. Definate tones of honey and light malt flavors of very light caramel. Not a lot of hop come through, though the bottle talks of Saaz and Hallertau. The feel is moderate, just where I would expect it. Drinkability is probably the best part of the beer. I would love to sit down to a few of these on a summer night. I think this is a nice maibock.

Light gold color with a true lattice of stain around a glass, this beer wafts light scents of clover honey, Hallertau, and crisp pale malts.

As for flavor, this beer is incredibly smooth, with a full body of pale malt nicked with bits of clover (from the honey used), moderate hopping with fine noble variety, and a very gentle finish of fresh grist grains. Almost light-cream like build-up through a few pints. Mouthfeel is gentle with carbonation and large and round in its bock-ness.

A slight and thus highly drinkable bock. The slight shades of honey and greater gravity make this beer just a step above a typical helles lager. Not nearly as powerful as many other maibocks, but much more easy to quaff than most in its modesty.

Pours out pale golden yellow and sites a mellow gold in the glass with a small white head. Fades off to a light skim on the surface.

Smells lightly spicy, like Saaz, with sweet honey aroma. Not getting much else out of it.

Taste is grassy and spicy. Well bittered but lacking in flavor. Shortest taste review ever.

Medium in body with fair to moderate carbonation. Not very refreshing, but is drinkable. A 6 pack would serve well on a hot day.

I recently tried two of the New Glarus offerings. First the Norski and then the Edel-Pils. They are alomst identical in taste, except that the Noski is sweet. The Norski is ok, but I'd choose the Pils instead. I just don't care for the added honey sweetness. But there is nothing here that I would expect to offend anyone's senses.

Pours golden yellow with nice white bubbly head and good carbonation. Smells of malts and a floral hops aroma. Taste is heavy on the malts, very smooth with a nice sweet finish. Honey can be tasted and it lingers in the finish leaving the mouth almost sticky with honey and malts. Very interesting beer. Very tasty and very refreshing. Beer is medium bodied, but I could drink this all day. Very nice offering from New Glarus.

I like the Bock beer style, but unfortunately this one fell a bit short. It poured an average sized white head with fine-small sized bubbles that mostly diminished. The body was slightly cloudy with soft carbonation observed. The hue was pale yellow. The nose was malty, sweet and fruity. The flavor of this beer was sweet from start to finish with a tingly, smooth, thin-watery texture and light bodied. There was a fair amount of lacing.

Medium gold color. Largish foamy head. Aroma is slightly floral. A medium bodied beer. Mild malts are sweet. Honey flavor prevalent. Hops are very mild. Very smooth and slightly sweet. Nice tasting beer. I would never have guessed that this is a bock. I like it, but it sure doesn't taste like most bocks I've had. Mouthfeel is thick and round. Finish is clean and very smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet

You can certainly taste the honey in this one...borders on a little too sweet, but I enjoy the honey flavor...not very malty as a good maibock should be...the honey adds a nice twist....actually has a crisp mouthfeel...a real enjoyable beer to drink...If this was available to me I'd definitely a sixer or 12 every time this comes out...one of the top 7 or so New Glarus beers..maybe top 5...

Clear straw appearance. Very slightly chill hazed. Only a slight film of a head. Nice subdued malt tones. Also pick up what I perceive to be a saaz like hop sharpness on the nose. It actually fits pretty nicely. The taste is smooth malty. Subtle nuances of honey accentuate. Not as much hop character as the nose indicated. Medium to full in body. This is a good beer, but I remember it being even better when I've had it in the past.

Got this one thanks to a trade. This is a decent Blonde that pours a deep gold color with a thin white head. Slight hops and honey aroma. Flavor is crisp an light and really not very exciting. Not too bad though.
