On-draught @ the brewery. Small draught pour into stemware for $9 AUD.
"Fruit & spice farmhouse ale." 5.30% ABV.
Slightly tart with berry sweetness. I'd guess strawberry and raspberry?
Soft, coating, smooth, wet.
There isn't much here for the farmhouse ale fan after woodsiness, Brettanomyces funkiness, microflora, oak, spice, or even Belgian saccharomyces yeast flavour, but what it brings in terms of fruit flavour, tartness, and mild acidity make it worthwhile.
Balanced and enjoyable, with a drinkably low ABV for the style.
More solid work from one of Melbourne's best breweries.
