This one pours a nice little golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like orange rind, lemon, and a little bit of grassiness and bready malts.
This is fairly basic, but done well, with a lightly sweet and dry fruitiness that remains crisp without adding a ton of sweetness. There’s grassy and lemony hops, and just a hint of breadiness on the finish.
This is light bodied, clean, crisp, and very drinkable.
This is no frills, even with the fruit addition, super crisp, and just pleasant to drink.

12oz stovepipe can from Hops & Bottles . Hazy golden pour, instantaneous huge frothy head. A blast of mandarin orange hits the nose upon opening. Orange is more subtle in the taste, but a nice addition to the grainy flavors. Abrupt finish.

12oz skinny can. Bottom stamp reads 'LT-CML82'.
Partly cloudy pale gold colored body. Two fingers of pillowy white head, which maintains for awhile. Leaves behind horizontal strips of lacing.
Aroma of toasted malts, yeast, and earthy hops.
Taste is very earthy, with toasted malts and a mineral note. Tangerine is clearly evident. Hops provide a floral flavor. Also has a yeast tanginess.
Medium mouth feel. Clean and dry finish. Excellent carbonation.
Long lasting foamy head, which caps a lager that has the extra flavors from the tangerine and the amaranth.

Poured into a Reuben's Brew pint glass. Pours a moderately hazy, light to medium golden amber with a big, three finger white head with great retention and chunky lacing. Aroma of grainy lager malt, mandarin oranges and light grassy hops. Flavor is lager malt, a mild corn-like sweetness, mandarin orange, a touch of lemon and light grassy hops and grain in the finish. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. A novel orange flavored lager. The base seems to be closest to a Mexican lager profile (which I wish we had a category here, since the style name is quite common on the store shelves and is moderately distinct from the classic American and European lagers). I'm not big fan of fruit in beer, but I thought this worked nicely. It actually has less "old fruit juice" character than many of the hazy NE IPAs I've tasted. The lager is fairly laid back, but satisfactory, as a matter of fact I probably would have found it uninteresting without the orange. The mandarin flavor is distinct even thought the orange is well handled and not dominating. A refreshing and fun to drink lager. The head is impressive.
