From an undated can sampled on June 30, 2023.
It pours the way it should for the style with its mahogany-reddish appearance, beige head, and thin cloudiness.
The aroma is an array of characters including roasted sweet toffee malts, raisins, dried fruit, ash, anise, molasses, and am earthy hop tone.
Light to medium mouthfeel.
The taste is sweet with many of the same sensations but also a slight buttery note that I could not define. Balanced. Not bitter.

16 oz can from the source.
Fairly dark brown in color bordering on black with a thin smattering of tan bubbles that quickly dissipates. Earthy bready caramel maltiness. Pretty simple pretty clean beer.
