Thanks to Cornaeus for this one. 16oz can (dated 9/2/21) poured into 14oz teku. Poured a very cloudy yellow color with well over an inch of full, bubbly, white head that moderate retention and very light lacing.
The aroma had nice earthy grains, and light, ester-y yeast. There was an aromatic I couldn't place, perhaps that was the pineapple weed mentioned on the label. there was a soft touch of hops as well.
Very similar on the tongue, with both the yeast and hops being a bit brighter. Again, what I assume is the pineapple weed adds a distinct aspect.
The body was light, smooth, crisp,carried good carb throughout, and had a dry finish.
Drinkability was very good, i could easily knock back more of these.
Overall, a very nice beer. most certainly worth your time if you see it.
