Our Belgian-style witbier is named for the Manasquan River. When we think Manasquan, we think fun times! And with wheat, coriander, orange zest, citrus juice, and a playful Belgian yeast, that's exactly what we've made: a fun beer you can enjoy year round! This golden gem achieves the right juicy and spicy balance for a smooth, refreshing, ever-so-slightly funky beer.

Surprising look for a wit--kind of orange to amber instead of the expected bright gold. Very little head apparent. Coriander spice comes through nicely. There is an extra bite and bitterness to this beer, with orange and lemon zest bringing out peels in the flavor. Slightly off a traditional Belgian wit, but still refreshing enough to cut the summer heat.

Semi clear orange color. Has medium light carbonation with at least an average body.
Aroma is citrus peel but mostly fruit, sweet honey, lots of orange juice and peel followed by coriander.
Taste doesn't stray too far from the aroma with orange peel and fruit showing up first with a bit of lemon. Not very sweet, almost comes off dry with the coriander adding to that.
Had to let it warm up to appreciate it. This was a pleasant take on the style and would look for it again. First time trying this brewer but will look for other things from them in the future.
