Our winter warmer is named for one of our favorite winter pastimes on the Navesink River, where iceboaters have been racing since the 1850s! Flavored with a selection of familiar spices that conjures up the tastiest of winter desserts, you'll find notes of gingerbread, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, dark fruits, caramel and molasses. With an aroma that is nearly as delicious as the rich flavor, the warm finish and rich body will have you pining for the cold weather all year long!

A: The beer is jet black in color. It poured with a quarter finger high dark tan head that left a wide collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of nutmeg and allspice are present in the nose along with notes of cinnamon.
T: The taste follows the smell and has flavors of winter spices along with underlying notes of toasted and caramel malts. There is a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels a bit more than medium-bodied on the palate and has a slight amount of warming from the alcohol.
O: The holiday spices in this beer make it a nice selection for the winter months. I found this beer to be quite drinkable compared to what I initially expected it would be because it seems to be a little lighter in body compared to other beers in the style.
