A: The beer is quite hazy amber yellow in color. It poured with a half finger high off white head that died down, leaving a small patch of bubbles on the surface, a narrow collar around the edge, and some lacing down the sides.
S: Moderate aromas of caramel malts are present in the nose along with underlying notes of citrusy and piney hops.
T: The taste follows the smell, but the flavors of hops are a little stronger and the pine particularly lingers into the finish. There is a moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels nearly medium-bodied and somewhat crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer definitely feels like it has the body of a malty West Coast IPA but has the drinkability of a Session IPA.
