Fishfinder is our Golden Helles Lager done in collaboration with our good friends at TAK Waterman, made with Biscuit, Vienna, and Two-row Pale malts and Hallertau Hersbrucker hops!

We love getting out on the water, sailing, swimming, surfing, fishing, you name it. And one of our absolute favorite spots to pick up apparel for the water, or fishing & surfing supplies and equipment, is over at TAK Waterman in Long Branch. And when we started talking beers with the guys at TAK, it seemed only natural to join forces and team up for this collaboration beer!

Crisp, bright, clean, and refreshing, this Golden Helles Lager is the perfect beer to take out on the boat whether your popping and jigging for tuna or stripers.

Cloudy Burnt orange appearance .
Above average carbonation which seems to dissipate fairly fast.body is about medium but has this mild thick feel that i often get from wheat beers.
Aroma is the best part, crusty white bread, yeast, cereal and grain. Theres malt and in the background floral honey.
Taste is a bit sweet with the yeasty white bread and cereal coming through nicely.
Overall I cant say it hit the bullseye but it was very enjoyable to me

A deeper shade of gold graces the glass, minimal white head. Billed as a German-style Helles, but even more malt forward. Picked up biscuit, toast and grain flavors with a degree of complexity that offset the differences (and slight disappointment) between this beer and a true German Helles.

A: The beer is clear dark yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a half finger high white head that died down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of biscuit and cracker malts are preset in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has additional notes of floral/spicy hops and hints of toasted malts. There is a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels nearly medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation. The hops and maltiness lends some dryness to the finish.
O: I found this beer to be quite malty and dry for a Helles Lager but there's enough underlying hops to prevent much in the way of sweetness.
