On draught at the brewery. Served in a snulip glass. The color is a hazy, reddish brown with orange hues, and a modest light khaki-colored head and minimal lacing. It has a robust, aromatic smell featuring sweet malt, molasses, plum, apple, black cherry, and Belgian spicing. It's big and complex. The taste is also sophisticated with lots of roasted malt, green apple, raisin, brown sugar, clove, and peppercorn. It's more tangy than sweet. There is pronounced bitterness at the finish (35 IBU). This ale is moderate in body and carbonation and at 10% ABV it's warming. Overall, I'm always on the lookout for this style and Farm to Dock is a well-crafted version that I would gladly drink again.
