Pours a nutty brown with some heavy fog to the transparency. Head is a finger of khaki foam. Aroma is bready, caramely malts with light fig and toffee intermixed. Semi-dry and very light. Flavor profile is more bold malts - bready and caramely, with more subtle earthy malts. Lovely fig, toffee, chocolate, and molasses as well. Hits more heavily on the chocolate than the other notes. Mouth feel is medium-thin with a creamy texture. Overall, a lovely little pop of malts with some underlying sweet characteristics that elevate it even further.
