On tap at Pilot Project
Moving right along with my first visit to Pilot Project, we move over to Brewer’s Kitchen for a rather unique fruited APA. Strawberry, lemon and lavender sounds like an awesome combination in theory, let’s see how it is in execution
Pours a cloudy deep copper orange with 2 fingers of creamy light beige head that slowly fades to a thin cap and leaves decent lacing
The lavender screams over the other notes in the nose but I’m cool with it. I’m picking up on aromas of lavender, bready malt, dehydrated strawberry, lemonade, honey, orange juice, and light grassy hops
Things feel a bit flatter in taste unfortunately but it’s not bad by any means. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting strawberry, lemon zest, crackery malt, honey, lavender, biscuit, and raw grain. The swallow brings notes of lavender, lemonade, cereal grain, sweet honey, vanilla, dehydrated strawberry, and light coriander
A medium body pairs with gentle carbonation, resulting in a smooth beer. Finishes mostly dry and slightly refreshing
This one is a bit lackluster in flavor but I can still throw it down

Had on tap at the source at Pilot Project.
All the fruity sensory sensations make Courtesy for me an uneasy styling as an APA; but UnTappd also says, so go with it.\
Courtesy has hazy Looks, but a nice foam. Smells are a fruity melange with citrus strongest. Tastes are balanced, but the moderating influence of the lavender is key to making Courtesy interesting (Copenhagen already is interesting.) Refreshing in the mouth. I'd like to try this again with lunch.
I'm liking Brewer's Kitchen more and more. I've had 12 uniques from them and am usually game to try more. But I will start repeating others also as BK has their fair share of repeats.
