Herfstbok, or "autumn bok" in dutch, is a traditional fall beer of the Netherlands. Our yearly release of this festive fall beer is rich, chewy, & silky smooth w/ just enough bite to keep the goats happy.

16 oz can into a mug. 6.66% ABV. Nice.
A: Mostly clear dark mahogany brown color with a half-finger off-white head that quickly dissipated.
S: Doughy malt, chocolate, and warming spice. Looks and smells more like a Roggenbier than a Marzen.
T: Chocolate and warming rye spice take center stage. Hop bitterness is mild and slightly earthy. Very unusual. Is it a rye beer, a nut brown ale, a Marzen? Yes. And I think I like it?
F: Medium bodied and smooth.
O: I'm not sure what this is but it's certainly intriguing.
