Huppendorfer Bier Brauerei Grasser "Huppendorfer Dunkel"
,25L vom fass at the brewery on 16 September 2017
Notes: The body is a crystal clear dark amber that's not quite copper. The head is a pillowy bright white. Both the head retention and lacing are very good. The aroma displays lightly sweetish, grainy, and toasty malt. The flavor follows with the addition of a little bit of caramel and some lightly floral, grassy, herbal, and spicy hops. It's very nicely balanced by a median to moderate bitterness, and it finishes with a dollop of toasty and caramelish malt and herbal, spicy, and grassy hops. In the mouth it's medium-light in body and smooth with a fine-bubbled, seemingly natural carbonation. Very nicely done all around.
