Differs from other franconian Hefeweizen Beers with its much more pronounced yeastiness, which is closer to the traditional Oberbayern Hefeweizen style. It's quite good though.

Pours a clouded golden color with a noisy, bigger head.

Smells of ripe banana, lime zest and orange peel among kardamom and smoked white pepper.

This is as refreshing as it gets in a beer, with a fantastic balance to it and a lively, effervescent carbonation which goes all the way.

Tastes of dried grass, hay and white bread dough among sweet and ripe banana, rose petals and lighter strawberry bubblegum, gently balanced by soft and slightly spicy yeast. Allows sweet caramel and dry white pepper to cut through, calmed by an uprising effervescence, lending a lighter mineralic quality to the flavors. Finishes dry with a noteable hop appearance, adding perfectly to caramel and banana, creating a crisp and intense aftertaste.

Wow this is great. While this is, as expected, quite refreshing and rejuvenating the beer exhibits a fantastic hoppiness which blends into the other flavors marvelously well. This is still unmistakably a Weizen, but without its usual sweetness and overly pronounced spices.

Pours a cloudy, pale golden amber coloration with a medium, foamy head and visible carbonation. Smells of doughy, bready malt and strong estery notes of banana and clove, with just a faint hint of citrus and grass as well. Taste follows the nose, with a great balance of doughy, bready malt, strong estery notes of banana, clove and black pepper and much lighter hoppy citrus and grass notes, as well as just a hint of a certain mineral note Finishes with a light/medium bitterness and some banana, clove and citrus lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth, effervescent mouthfeel with a medium body and medium/strong carbonation.

An excellent Hefeweizen with a great balance of malts, hops and esters, as well as quite a nice, effervescent mouthfeel. When it comes to the esters, the spicy clove and black pepper notes almost outweigh the fruity banana notes, which I personally quite like.

From the just out of date overly cold bottle, it pours a hazy amber with a nice head that sticks around. Some banana in the nose. The mouth gets the banana and some bread as well. Well balanced hefe!

this is a brisk and fantastic wonderful hef that has a picture perfect pour. a white head of something between a great pilz but a fantastic dough of a hef. this a is a bright hef. its not too outstandingly sweet and overly fruity. the nose is extremely subtle but expands as you drink. there is a mind mineral quality but it is all citrus based. this is a nice floral hef. like that of a helles hef. nice and bright and goes quite fast. the feel is perfect. wheat malt ester tickle. its not husky what so ever.
