Brauerei Johannes Hübner "Zwickel Pils"
2,20€ / ,5L glass on tap at the brewery on 17 September 2017
Notes: Clear gold body beneath a white head of foam. Very good head retention and lacing. Lightly spicy and herbal in the nose over sweetish and grainy Pilsner malt. The flavor is also sweetish and grainy with lightly spicy and herbal hop notes. A median bitterness balances it and it finishes short, dry, and herbal. Light-medium in body and crisp-then-smooth with a fine-bubbled, median carbonation. Very nicely done!

From the fass, it pours a hazy light amber with a large white head that lasts. As I had ordered a Schnitt, which is effectively a half-pour (.25l), it filled the glass with foam. Nice! Taste is lightly Franken Pilsner bitter and delicious! Scent is pleasant.
