Belgian Brown monastic-style ale made with traditional candi-syrup. A rich, dark ale of great character with notes of caramel, plums, spice, and dried fruits.

Crowler filled at the source this afternoon.
Pour a darker shade of almond, almost light brown, hazed, under a slight tiny bubble cap. Leaves nice looking webs and bits of lacing.
Ripe plums, apricots and assorted sweet stone fruit notes on the nose.
Soft and smooth in the mouth, with carbonation comfortable a bit on the lower side.
Tasty and complex brew with soft ripe fruit notes meshing with well rounded toffee malts, all with a Belgian infused yeasty quality in the finish....nicely done. Looking forward to trying more offerings from this brand new brewery.
