incredibly profession lager here for a tiny and from what i can tell mostly unknown operation, this is good enough to have come from just about anywhere, very impressive introduction to this place, such a cool spot to hang! yellow to golden in color with nice clarity and a high white head from the tap, a pretty glass of beer with fast racing carbonation and nice lace as it sips. aroma on the hops is a little different, some mild noble bitterness and grassy character, but also a little limey or lime leafy southern hemisphere thing, a nice and subtle twist to this, and its there in the taste too, not hoppy as they go, but uniquely hopped while still being drinkable and rightly proportioned. the grain is fresh and clean and the yeast is crisping without having much of the fruity mexican lager yeast strain character, more mild than is common, a little more european to me, but it works, especially in a high volume consumption context. white bread essence to the pils malt, some juiciness to the hops as it warms, and nice clean minerality and finishing dryness. lively feeling beer too, and sitting out back in their awesome beer garden on a warm summer evening this seemed like the absolutely ideal drink. i was impressed with this beer and this brewery, cant wait to go back! a way better than average mexican lager here!

on draught at Mountain Hops Brewhouse.

Pours a clear gold with a nice small head of foam.

Smells malty with light grain, light but good hop aroma.

Taste is malty, light hoppiness, light grain. Very refreshing.

Medium body with medium carbonation.

Excellent summer beer!
