The beer foams our of the can. Over-carbonated, creating a 90% large-bubbled head on the initial pour. A variety of spots and short streaks result. The liquid is amber colored and cloudy.
The smell is a balanced blend of paler malt with floral hops. Subsequent whiffs notes a stronger hop bitterness while the malt fades.
Lots of yeast on the initial taste. This effectively covers up the drier malt. Despite the pour, the carbonation is only slightly elevated and the body is neutral. The hop cuts into the yeast allowing for the finish to be more normal for the style. The overall combination reminds me of a well-made homebrew.
