Pours a hazy yellow golden straw color. Carbonation is visible and lively looking. A fizzy head quickly dissipates.
The nose opens with notes of raw grain and some adjunct sweetness, perhaps corn. Further in, aromas of biscuit, cracker, floral spices, grass and lemon.
The taste opens with bready, biscuity and crackery malts contrasted by clean and crisp lager yeast spices. Modestly sweet, some corn or rice like adjunct flavors, and balanced by a mildly peppery bitterness. Notes of orange, lemon, grass, and white pepper.
Light to medium bodied, clean and crisp. The finish is crisp and dry with a gentle bitterness. Carbonation is lively.
A refreshing and easy drinking lager. Great for daytime drinking. I would have again.
