3-fingers dense beige head. As a nitro pour, the upward cascade of fine bubbles was perfect for the style. Extensive spots on the glass for lace. Some light passes at the extreme edge of the glass, otherwise the liquid is dark brown.

Semisweet chocolate nose. Lightly creamy but not like a milk stout.

The taste has a strong powdered cocoa flavor. More sweet than dry. Some chocolate and no coffee. Richer than most stout with fine nitro “carbonation.” Shorter aftertaste with a lighter cherry element to the cocoa.
